I can do details like the YouTubers, I detailed my EF200

I was in a detail frame of mind today so I took out my Kato EF200 and decided to give a go at detailing it. The locomotive came with an assortment of antenna's, GPS, Number boards and grabirons. All these parts are tiny after all its N scale, To tell you the truth I wouldn't have attempted this if it wasn't for my new Helping Hands from KOTTO. Putting those parts on the loco was stressful as I lost a few of the parts luckily there was some spares and I completed both ends of the locomotive. I also added a led to the Digitrax board that goes in the EF200. So all in all it was a busy day with lots of stuff accomplished.

KOTTO Helping Hands with magifier

Today Amazon delivered a new piece of kit called the KOTTO Helping hands with magnifier. I was in the market for a magnifier but didn't want to do a head worn type so I decided to get the KOTTO helping hand. I also got some flux paste and some 3mm solder.

Aru Nine new motor kit for the TOMYTEC DMV Bus

If you're like me I purchased the TOMYTEC DMV bus when I first heard about its announcement. I thought to myself why doesn't this have a motor now it does. The motor kit is from Aru Nine who make a lot of etched brass kit that use various powered chassis. The YouTuber in this video shows how to install the motor kit into his TOMYTEC DMV bus, I think its pretty cool if you ask me.

My first decoder install in a while Kato Series E531

It was a pretty straight forward install, Take off the cover then remove the power bogie. Slip in the EM13 and do the reverse.

Its cute I guess with bonus build photos

I completed the GreenMax MOW set at least the engine part of the kit. Here is the kit next to the TMC 100, I think with some weathering and some grime it'll be a real looker.

Got some tiny LEDs

I got the magnet wire now the leds, Today I got 200 tiny leds which I will attempt to solder magnet wire onto. Let's see how this plays out because they are really tiny.
